Summary
form EDGE is a solid natural nootropic supplement. Most nootropics made in the UK are good quality, and this is no exception. Great ingredients, ideal doses, no fillers. EDGE could be a more complete brain supplement – it doesn’t cover as many angles as Mind Lab Pro or some of the other top-tier brain supplements out today. But it is still very good.
Form EDGE Review: What does this nootropic claim to do?
Form EDGE is a nootropic supplement created and sold by Find Form Ltd. This is a UK based company; form EDGE is manufactured in the UK, although it is sold worldwide. EDGE is not form’s only nootropic – they also have a fast-acting focus stack called BOOST. We’ll review that separately in a later post. For now, let’s take a closer look at form EDGE and see what it has to offer.
What does form EDGE claim to do?
Form EDGE is described as a “cognitive enhancer for daily use”. The official website says that form EDGE makes you your “best you”. It is obviously designed as a full-spectrum, complete brain supplement.
According to the website, form EDGE does the following:
- Reduces tiredness and mental fatigue
- Promotes the synthesis of select neurotransmitters
- Increases attention
- Reduces anxiety
That’s a great range of benefits to get from a single nootropic supplement. If form EDGE can really do all this, then we’ll be very impressed.

Form EDGE Ingredients
Here is the form EDGE formula as it is displayed on the bottle:
Here is a breakdown of the form EDGE formula. We’ll explain what each ingredient is, how it enhances cognitive function (if it does at all), and what we make of the dose used in form EDGE. Please post your questions in the comments at the end.
Alpha-GPC – 150mg
An incredible short-term focus enhancer, Alpha-GPC is an excellent choice for a daily brain supplement. Alpha-GPC works quickly, heightening focus, sharpening your thinking, and supporting good working memory function. It does this by raising choline levels in the brain, which in turn raises acetylcholine synthesis. We would like to see more than 150mg in this formula, but this is enough to see real improvements in a short space of time (first effects are usually felt within 2 hours).
Bacopa monnieri – 150mg (55% bacosides)
Bacopa monnieri is our go-to memory booster. Supplementing with Bacopa monnieri has been shown to improve performance in memory tests in multiple clinical trials. It is a slow-burner, with the effects only becoming really noticeable after 8-12 weeks.
Form EDGE uses a fantastic Bacopa monnieri extract; 55% bacosides is practically unheard of in the nootropics industry. The vast majority of brain supplements use a 20% extract. One – Mind Lab Pro – uses an extract containing just the 9 bioactive bacosides. A 150mg serving of 55% extract is ideal for long-term memory enhancement.
Phosphatidylserine – 100mg
We think every full-spectrum nootropic should provide at least 100mg of phosphatidylserine. This phospholipid is incredibly important for the normal functioning of the brain; it is a principle component of brain cell membranes and it is involved in cell signalling. Phospholipid concentrations in the brain naturally start to decline as we get older. Supplementing with phosphatidylserine may help delay the onset of the cognitive decline associated with lower phospholipid levels. Studies have shown short-term improvements in cognitive function from phosphatidylserine supplementation.
Ginkgo biloba – 60mg (50:1 extract)
Ginkgo biloba improves cerebral circulation by dilating the blood vessels in your brain. This allows more blood to reach your brain cells. More oxygenated, better fed brain cells are better functioning brain cells. Increasing oxygen delivery to brain cells can also help prevent premature brain cell death resulting from restricted or blocked blood vessels (which is more common than you probably realize). Amazingly, ginkgo biloba increases blood flow in the brain without raising systemic blood pressure. A wonderful nootropic.
B Vitamins
We’ve lumped the B Vitamins together here because they all contribute to higher cognitive functioning and better brain health in very similar ways. B Vitamins are largely responsible for governing energy metabolism. We need them to extract energy from food. Having low B Vitamin levels will result in fatigue, weakness, and poor cognitive function.
Iodine
We aren’t sure why iodine has been included in form EDGE. As far as we know, iodine does not affect cognition – neither directly nor indirectly. We don’t think it is a good idea to mess around with your iodine levels; iodine is needed for thyroid function. Supplementing with large doses of iodine might have an unwanted effect on your thyroid, which would be disastrous to your physical and mental health.
Our take on the form EDGE formula
The form EDGE formula is very good on the whole.
It combines a small number of excellent nootropics. The doses are appropriate for short-term nootropic benefits; they’re big enough to have a quick impact but not so big that side effects are a concern.
Form EDGE covers all of the most important aspects of short/medium-term cognitive function.
The Bacopa monnieri takes care of memory function.
The Apha-GPC rapidly increases attention, focus, and information processing.
Gingko biloba increases brain cell oxygenation, improving all-round mental function and promotes good brain health going forward.
The phosphatidylserine supports good brain cell health and integrity over the long-term; this may even help delay the onset of cognitive decline, or at least attenuate its severity.
The said, form EDGE is not perfect. It is not the most comprehensive nootropic on the market.
It doesn’t deliver a potent anxiolytic like rhodiola rosea, tyrosine or ashwagandha. Nor does it provide anything to stimulate neurogenesis (e.g Lion’s Mane Mushroom). There’s no antioxidant content either!
While the form EDGE formula could be greatly improved by adding in a couple of extra ingredients, it is still an excellent natural nootropic supplement. Users will no doubt see improvements in attention, clarity, and memory function.
Few side effect risks and a decent price really wrap this one up nicely. We think form EDGE is a great choice for anyone in need of a fast-acting brain supplement.
Side Effects: Is form EDGE safe?
Form EDGE looks like a safe nootropic to us.
The ingredients used in form EDGE are widely used substances – they’ve been used in hundreds of nootropics for many years and they are not known to cause side effects in many users.
The substances in form EDGE have all been thoroughly tested in vitro and in vivo. Each one has been found to be perfectly safe for regular human consumption.
The doses used in form EDGE are all well within the normal range too; we doubt many users are going to even experience mild side effects while using this nootropic.
So yes, form EDGE looks safe. Side effects will be rare, and when they do occur, very mild.
Of course, everyone is different. A stack can be safe for 99.99% of people, but you might be that 0.01%! You need to do your own research and talk to a qualified medical professional before using any nootropics.
In Conclusion – Is form EDGE a good brain supplement?
We believe that form EDGE is a great choice for anybody in need of a swift increase in attention, mental clarity, and learning capacity.
The Alpha-GPC will ramp up focus and heighten alertness within a couple of hours of taking form EDGE. While that’s happening, the Ginkgo biloba will improve blood flow in the brain, enhancing pretty much every aspect of cognitive function and guaranteeing good brain cell health moving forward.
More long-term, form EDGE will definitely help support proper memory function and promote good brain functionality.
The combination of Bacopa monnieri and Phosphatidylserine will improve memory recall and retention while ensuring good brain cell health.
The B vitamins will help with energy levels, but they don’t really contribute a great deal to this stack. The iodine is a strange one to include as it does not have any nootropic effects. Whatever the reason it was included, form EDGE doesn’t really suffer for the inclusion of vitamins and iodine!
However, form EDGE is not the most complete brain supplement. It could be made significantly more comprehensive with the addition of a couple more ingredients.
There’s no anxiolytic – reducing anxiety is a standard function of full-spectrum nootropics. This is a big omission from form EDGE.
There’s nothing to really promote neurogenesis.
There’s no antioxidant.
Despite these ‘flaws’, form EDGE remains a top quality focus and memory enhancer. If you’re looking for a complete, full-spectrum brain supplement, there are better products out there.
But if you want a safe, reliable increase in focus, learning capacity and memory, form EDGE can help!
