Who is VAGA?
VAGA’s Mission
VAGA is dedicated to bringing you the most up-to-date information regarding cognitive enhancement, sleep hacking, life extension, and overall human performance optimization.
Our main focus is bio-hacking; ways in which we can alter our biology to enhance performance, productivity, happiness, and health. We also cover some aspects of sports performance enhancement.
Most of our site is dedicated to supplement reviews. We spend dozens of hours a month scouring the internet in search of new nootropics, sleep aids, prebiotics, mood boosters, and more. We draw on our extensive experience and research to give you detailed reviews of these supplements.
After all, there are hundreds of different options on the market for every conceivable need. If you don’t know what you’re looking for, you could easily waste hundreds of dollars trying to find a sleep aid or a nootropic that worked for you.
Our supplement reviews allow you to skip this personal trial and error stage and cut straight to the good stuff – the products that actually work!
If you’d like to know more about how we conduct our research for articles, guides, and product reviews, check out our research page.
If you have a substance or supplement that you’d like us to review, get in touch via our contact page.
Background on VAGA.org
The vast majority of the work on VAGA is created by Brian Johnson. What isn’t written by Brian is at least edited by him. VAGA is very much his brainchild.
Brian has been experimenting with nootropics and sleep enhancers for well over a decade. He has tried practically every well-known cognitive enhancing drug out there. Brian has also amassed extensive experience with natural nootropics. He spent years systemically trying all of the most popular nootropic substances, measuring their effects, trying them in different combinations with each other, and documenting his findings.
Brian holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology. His formal academic training puts him into a relatively unique position to review nootropic supplements – he can properly understand and distill the available clinical data to tell you what works and what doesn’t.
Brian is constantly expanding his knowledge of pharmaceuticals, psychotropics, nootropics and research chemicals. He intends to return to formal study to obtain his PhD; he just needs to get VAGA to a place he’s happy with first!
VAGA is also supported by a number of individuals who contribute to editing, design, and research. These individuals all have a good grasp of scientific research methods, and they all have first-hand experience dealing with the supplements reviewed on VAGA.
